Purpose of the JTAT workshop is twofold. The first one is to provide the opportunity for teachers of Japanese in Texas to explore and expand their knowledge and skills necessary for teaching and learning of Japanese Language and culture. The second one is to promote their professionalism in language instructions and beyond. JTAT believes in Education in Japanese Language and Culture. Through Japanese Education, we make our effort and commitment in teaching learners of Japanese in Texas and make contributions to promote the cultural understanding and awareness in people of Japan and the U.S.A.

Topic : "Language Learning with Technology; newest and most innovative ways " 「 テクノロジーを使用した外国語学習 : 最先端の技術と情報の検証」

Abstract

Certificate : Participants of the workshop will receive Certificate of Participation for 6 hours of Language Learning with Technology
                 for Teacher Professional Development in Japanese upon request.

Please contact JTAT Secretary, Yoshie Sweigart(Kumagai) sense for questions and information .about workshop attendance and Certificate request.   

            Please note that if you are not a current member of JTAT, there would be a participation fee of $20.00 (non-members only).
            A box-lunch ($15.00 pre-order, for all participants including JTAT members) will be provided upon request. Please make payment at the day of the Workshop or
            become a member prior to the workshop and take advantage of attending the workshop.with minimum charge described above.

Schedule : Registration and Workshop will be held at Room 205 in Rayzor Hall. JTAT summer meeting and a panel discussion will be held in Rayzor Hall 202.
