The winner of First and Second Place in Division IV will participate in the Aurora National Japanese Speech Contest 2009 in Los Angeles.

All participants who received Erin-chan posters, donated by the Japan Foundation, will receive the 20th Speech Contest DVD.

A Special Award / Scholarship in the amount of $1000 has been established by JAGH to be awarded at the next Texas Speech Contest to be held in 2010.
